Q1. Is AAA Teen Drivers a Ministry approved Course Provider?
Yes, We are MTO (Ministry of Transportation)approved Beginner Driver Education Program provider.
Q2. What does the Beginner Course consist of?
Our program consists of 20 Hours of In-Class, 10 Hours home Link studies ( home work ) and 10 hours on the road ( behind the wheels) training.
Q3. Can I join the course at any time?
Yes, you can join the course any weekday or weekend. Just call our office and we can let you know what days are available.
Q4. Do I have to finish my classes before I can start my in-car training?
We recommend that you finish the In-Class before you start your In-Car training.
Q5. How much insurance discount I can get?
You may get 25% to 40% annually. Insurance discounts may vary depending upon insurance companies, your driving record, your age, type of car etc. Your Insurance Company or agent can tell you more specifically.
Q6. How do I register?
You can use our web site link to register any Driving Courses or you can call us at 905 337 8776.
Q7. How long does it take to complete the program?
The In-Class can be done in 4 days. We have classes on weekends and weekdays. Please check News and events and calendar to find the dates. Driving portion of the course depend on student and Instructors availability and also the time of the year. Please check with the office to learn more.
Q8. How long do I have to finish the program?
You must complete the entire program (classes and in-car training) within one year of the start date.
Q9. Can I begin the course without my G1?
You may begin the program’s class sessions without your G1, but you must get your G1 License before you begin your in-car lessons.
Q10. How early can I go for my ministry road test?
If you take our ministry approved course, you can take your test after waiting a minimum of 8 months from date of license issue. Otherwise you must wait a minimum of 1 year.
Q11. Would I be able to use my instructor’s car?
Yes you can use the instructor’s car for an additional cost depending upon which test centre you choose to go.
Q12. When am I eligible to get my certificate?
Once you have finished the complete program, We will Certify you with MTO in order for you to  get  driver’s licence history search showing proof of beginner driver education course completion from Service Ontario. You may also perform the search online at https://www.apps.rus.mto.gov.on.ca/jtips/licenseHistorySearch.do?method=view&lang=EN and then the search will be mailed to you in 10 to 15 business days. You will be able to get your Course Completion Certificate through Service Ontario in person or by going online after 14 days of the course completion. You will have to pay $12 to get your certificate
Q13. Why is that some big schools are very expensive than yours and is your school as good as their ads claim them to be?
We don’t have huge franchise and advertising expenses. Thus we can offer you an affordable price at the same service or even better service as they claim to offer you. Teen Drivers advertise is mostly you, our students. Our best service is our advertisement.
Q14. Is the fee for the Courses taken at Driving Schools TAX DEDUCTIBLE for students?
